A Different Way to Treat Allergies

Nurse Judy is a pediatric nurse with over 30 years experience, and is the reason I came to know about this wonderful treatment approach for allergies and sensitivities. What follows is a blog post written by her and shared with me for use on my website. I hope that you enjoy reading about the origin story for Allergy Relief Care, and if you enjoy what Nurse Judy has to say please check out her blog at: https://judykivowitz.substack.com/

For more than 30 years I was the advice nurse at a busy pediatric office in San Francisco.

One day, one of our patients came to the office for her annual visit. This little girl had a history of asthma and had been on a regime of medications to manage it.

During her exam, the mom mentioned that her daughter was off all of her medications and was doing great. The mom explained that they had done some treatments at a local place that treated allergies without medications,  and that the asthma was much improved.

The pediatrician was initially concerned that our patient was no longer taking her meds, but was also curious. He put me on the task to find out more about those treatments

The mom was happy to tell me all about it. She herself had done some sessions to treat her dairy allergy, and now was able to have dairy with no issues after being unable to eat it for many years. For both her and her child the treatments had been life changing.

At our request, the practitioner had sent over the records but there was simply not a clear translation from this mode of treatment over to "Western Medicine". I was intrigued though. Both of my daughters have troublesome allergies.

My younger daughter Alana set up an appointment and she invited me to come along to observe.

They put a cuff on her arm and sent frequencies of different allergens through the cuff. If she was sensitive to something her arm would lift. It was hard to believe what I was seeing, but then......

We looked at the list of allergies that they had identified and to my surprise, I saw that it was very consistent with the results from testing done at UCSF (University of California at San Francisco) years ago. I had watched the process with the cynical eye of a scientist and was impressed with the results.

Alas, they were upfront from the start that they weren’t able to treat everything including some food  ‘intolerances’. But, her treatments absolutely eased her seasonal allergy symptoms.

My brother-in-law was also interested in hearing about our experience. He was severely allergic to cats. Richard couldn't go into a house that had a cat without having immediate, significant wheezing and distress. He did a couple of treatments with great success. He now can tolerate a cat house visit with only mild symptoms.

My husband Sandy decided to give it a try as well.  He had been plagued by an itchy rash. Years of various treatments had been unsuccessful. Fascinatingly, they found that he was allergic to his own histamine.

He was thrilled that he got very significant relief.

This is not just ‘a waving of the hands’. These  treatments  get results and could benefit people with stomach issues, respiratory issues, attention issues, colic....you get the idea. It of course doesn't fix everything, but for some people it is an absolute magic wand.

Over the years I have certainly told quite a few people about this treatment option, and some of my patients have seen significant success. It is such a different approach than the standard western medicine that we are familiar with.

I mentioned it to Shoshana and she was intrigued enough to bring her family out to San Francisco for treatment.

She saw how impactful it was and decided that she wanted to be able to share it locally.

The beauty of this is that it is safe. There is little downside in trying to see if it is as helpful for you as it has been for my patients and family members.

Give it a try!
